 *Research Interests:* Social stratification and inequality, race and ethnicity, political agency, marginalization and social movements

 **Meylin Gonzales Huamán** is a doctoral student in Sociology. She has experience with qualitative research for policy and academic audiences on a wide variety of topics such as internal migration, ethnoracial categories and spousal dynamics. Currently, she is interested in examining the intersection of family and job search drawing from the case of Venezuela migration in Latin America.
