For the past decade, he has worked as a journalist and filmmaker with a focus on narratives from underrepresented communities, focusing largely on immigration. He has worked at ABC News’ “Nightline” and his journalism has appeared in </em>The Guardian, The Economist, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, the Miami Herald <em>and </em>Univision<em>. His work has won awards from the Deadline Club, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and GLADD and he received an Edward R.
