For the past decade, he has worked as a journalist and filmmaker with a focus on narratives from underrepresented communities, focusing largely on immigration. He has worked at ABC News’ “Nightline” and his journalism has appeared in* The Guardian, The Economist, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, the Miami Herald *and* Univision*. His work has won awards from the Deadline Club, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and GLADD and he received an Edward R. Murrow Award from the Radio Television Digital News Association.*
